- My daughter had her iphone stolen last week in a cafe in London by a beggar with a sign who covered the table distracting her and nicking the phone on the table. The phone was then taken to an Apple store miles away (Cardiff) and traded in for a new one without any ID to show ownership. Apparently you just have to say it's faulty and Apple give you (the thief) a new one. Unbelievable!!
