My public library

No one can beat my public library for newer books. I use Overdrive to download books directly to my iPad, or I use Calibre on my desk computer to format the book, and then sync it to my iPad where I read it in Skyfire.

2000ebooks.com source for eBooks

My favourite source for free eBooks in the epub format for iPads is the 2000ebooks.com site. It has instant access to all Gutenberg books in epub format, sorted by author and title plus links to a huge number of other sources. A one-stop-shop approach. In English, Spanish and German. Easy to navigate and contains lots of information on eReaders and formats too.
