iPhone hands down
- The camera is a big reason, and the proximity sensor. The ability to pop in a SIM card and activate cell service, world-wide, instead of hunting and searching for a safe Wi-Fi hotspot, and hope the network is secure.

iPod touch
- I think the iPod touch is better because you get free Wi-Fi.

It ouch
- The iPod touch has everything except a phone, but you can use Skype or download an app that provides 1,000 minutes for fifteen dollars. iTouch, in my opinion, is a better buy than the iPhone.

iPhone all the way
- The iPod Touch has a 0.7 megapixel rear camera. That isn't good enough for me. I want a high-quality camera. Also, the iPhone is faster and has more features. Just go to the Apple website to find out.

OMG!!! ...In Education?
- Well, I am about to purchase 6 iPod Touches to use in my classroom as tools for learning. There are some great literacy and numeracy apps out there for learning.

Dedicated Music / Reader/ Games
- I have the 4th generation Touch 32g with over a thousand songs to play or read from one of my 500+ books downloaded onto both the Kindle and Nook apps. Most of the cool apps my friends have with their iPhones I can download on my Touch. I've kept my Blackberry PTT Phone for work since the iPhone doesn't have a two way (push to talk) feature and the email is secure, traffic maps good. As for the camera I carry a shirtpocket Cannon 14 megapixel with awesome HD video which I use for my YouTube videos, far superior to even the latest iPhone camera (ok really as a backup or teleconferencing). While waiting for something or someone or with lots of leisure time, the iPod Touch games apps are the same as the iPhone and are an excellent way to pass the time! I've mentioned the other devices since they've allowed me to play and read longer with the iPod without charging the battery in addition to the shortcomings of the iPhone with the contract!

iPhone and itouch
- To me, having both the iPhone and iTouch is a good idea as I have an iPhone 3G and iTouch 4G. The combo of a crappy phone and a nice multimedia device is nice.

iPhone
- iPhone 3GS is only $50 with a upgrade. I have had both and I would have to say the iPhone would be the better way to go. Because in this case you have everything on one device instead of having to carry your normal cell phone around and the iPod. Also the coverage is about a 6 in my viewing, with AT&T it sucks but you get around it. All in all, I'd say it would be better to just go with the iPhone.

Slightly better features vs. Low cost
- I own an iPhone 4, but mostly use it for everything but the phone function. I got a 4th Gen iPod touch with the intention of replacing the iPhone to avoid potential risks of mobile phone exposure. I absolutely loved how thin and light the iPod was in comparison, but there were too many comparative shortcomings to the iPhone to make me switch, as follows: Camera - picture sharpness was poor and there is no flash. Mic - the sensitivity and audio quality was surprisingly as clear as the iPhone despite it's small size, but was very susceptible to handling noise (tiny finger movements while holding it came through as if I were rubbing the mic directly). Screen - edges of images were sharp with the Retina Display, but colours were washed out in comparison to the iPhone 4. The 4th Gen iPod touch is an amazing thing in its own right, but doesn't quite match up to the iPhone 4. If you can afford it, the iPhone 4 is better.

iPhone
- I'm typing this from my iPhone 4, 32GB. For me 32GB is a perfect memory as I like downloading new stuff but at the moment I've only go 19GBs of stuff. Really the best device as my battery, with moderate gameplay, creating wifi hotspots in class and heaps of calling and toting lasts me about a week. Way more than my friends iPod touch 4G next to me, using my Wifi hotspot he burns his battery in 4 hours, he's had the thing for 5 months. I'm a kid and can't afford much, but I can manage my moderate $40 a month (New Zealand Dollars) which gives me 3000 TXTS, 300 calling minutes and 3GB of 3G data. My iPhone is awesome and I hardly ever turn it off. Everyone complains about signal issues. I don't drop a bar unless I have my hands completely wrapped around the device. WIFI is more temperamental though, I drop a bar if more than three fingers are on the aerial, but I just flip the device over and BOOM problem solved

iPod is a generic version of the iPhone
- The only reason people hate is cause they can't afford it. iPhone has no flaws I haven't dropped a single call nor is it equipped with a humming bird battery. The weight of the phone feels better in my hand rather than the plastic-like weightless feeling of an iPod.

iPhone vs iTouch
- I chose the iTouch because it does not have a monthly cost. My daughter wanted an iPod Touch and I wanted her to have a cell phone for emergencies so I was considering the iPhone, but wasn't prepared for the large monthly bill of adding an iPhone data plan with texting. After reading the comparisions and discussions, I decided that the combo of an iTouch and cheap emergency cell phone will satisfy us both and save money.

AT T
- I've had all 4 generations of the iPod touch and refuse to get an iPhone. I want lots of space available for my media and the iPhone can't deliver. Not to mention I can't find a reason to pay $100 a month for something I can do for free when I'm home. iPod Touch is definitely the better buy just carry a cheap cell phone around for emergencies. And really how hard is it to carry another phone in your pocket or car anyway?

I touch
- Has to be the touch, already have a mobile phone, just want all the apps and stuff without bills!!
