I bought my iPad right when it came out. I was very excited by the idea and when it came out I wasn't disappointed.

The iPad has games and apps that appeal to my whole family. I often have to fight my 2-year-old to use it because he's addicted to Plants vs. Zombies.

I read books on it all the time, watch movies, read web pages, write articles, collect my thoughts, and play lots of games. I even sewed my own bags for it (three different ones) so that I could have it with me where ever I went. I love my iPad. If it replaced anything, it was my iPod touch, but I still use that in situations where the iPad is too big. But those are very few and far between.

The only con to it is that it doesn't have a camera built in. I wish I could take photos or videos with it. Then it would be absolutely perfect.
