GoCare iPhone Insurance

On paper this is the most comprehensive and affordable plan.
But unfortunately when you need the service, there is a great chance of denial.
I bought 2 warranties for both of my iPhone 4s a year back with them for $75 each. When my turn came for service, I got very unprofessional and untruthful handling of my case. My phone stopped working. Nothing can be seen on LCD screen although it was powering up and my iTunes can recognise it. I do not know the exact sequence or nature (whether liquid damage or not) of this since my kids also play with it. They charged me $55 upfront as a deductible and set up the claim. They could not repair it after 3-4 weeks of handling. They blamed me that I did not disclose the water damage in the beginning. But I was not aware of that. Whatever I knew, I told them. Regardless of that, even if the water damage was there, they are supposed to either repair or replace the iPhone.
On Nov 18th, Lindsey told me that the phone is repaired and shipped. On Nov. 21st, they emailed me that the phone can not be repaired and claim will not be handled and the iPhone returned without any repair or replacement. The worst part is that after 3-4 weeks of handling, mistrust and lies, when I made attempts to talk to any supervisor or higher person, they never allowed me and returned my numerous calls.
Whatever business you do, you should have minimum courtesy or courage to talk to your customer. I am a highly trained professional and I was totally surprised and amazed by their response.
The whole warranty business is a scam. They offer very good terms and prices and get your warranty money, but when it is time to produce any service, they will find one or the other excuse to deny the claim.
