Even though the iPhone 3G, iPhone, and iPod touch all boast a decent amount of capacity to store your music, movies, email, contacts, and programs from the App Store, their storage capacity is far from unlimited. As a result, you may want to know how much space a program from the App Store is taking up – especially games whose terrific graphics can eaten up a lot of disk space.
When you know how much space each program takes up, and you need to squeeze just a little more storage out of your device, you’ll know which program to uninstall.
To do this, just follow these simple steps.

- Go to iTunes and select the App Store menu in the tray at the left. This will show you all the programs you’ve downloaded from the App Store.
To find out how much disk space each one uses, either right click on the programs or left click on them and then do the following:
Click Command+i on Mac
Click Control+I on WindowsOr go to the File menu and choose Get Info.
- When you do this, a window will pop up showing you the size of the program.
