If you do a lot of writing on the iPhone – whether it’s texting or emails – you’ll like this texting shortcut.
To type a period onto the end of a sentence on the iPhone, normally you need to tap the button at the lower left of the iPhone’s onscreen keyboard labeled as “.?123”. Doing that slows down your texting, of course, since you have to switch keyboard layouts.
But you can skip this step in this way:
Taping the keyboard button twice very quickly will create a period.
