My iTunes Store Purchase Won’t Play

By , About.com Guide

Sometimes, things you buy from the iTunes Store just won’t play. Whether it’s a song, a movie, or an audiobook, problems with iTunes prevent you from enjoying your purchase.

If you have something you’ve bought from the iTunes Store but can’t get it to play, try these steps to fix the problem:

1. Make sure the computer is authorized to play iTunes Store content. ITunes lets you authorize up to five computers to play back content bought at the store. If the computer you’re trying to play the purchase on isn’t authorized, it won’t play.

2. Report the problem. You can get direct email support from Apple on individual purchases by reporting the problem through your iTunes account.

3. Get email support. When the report a problem process doesn’t work, you can use Apple’s website to email iTunes Support staff directly.
