Introduction to Enabling iTunes Plus

NOTE: This article is no longer relevant. As of April 2009, iTunes Plus is the default format for all music on the iTunes Store. As a result, it is turned on by default and users no longer need to enable it.

In order to take advantage of iTunes Plus, the feature of the iTunes Store that lets users buy DRM-free, higher-quality music, and then share it on as many computers as they would like, you must first turn the feature on. Here's a step-by-step guide enabling iTunes Plus.

To begin, go to the iTunes Store and click on your account, the button at the top right, just beneath the search bar.
