Question: Can I rent HD (high-definition) quality movies from iTunes?
Answer:
Yes and no. HD movies are available for rental only using the revised Apple TV. If you’re doing your renting from a computer, or plan to watch your movie on an iPod or iPhone, you’re going to have to live with standard-definition movies for now.
HD rentals for the Apple TV, which is designed to be used with HDTVs, are $1 more, running $3.99 for back catalog titles and $4.99 for new titles.
