iTunes Wifi Music Store - The iTunes WiFi Music Store is the name given to a feature of certain iPod and iPhone models that allows users to connect to the iTunes store and purchase content from it wirelessly.
The iTunes WiFi Music Store lets users of the iPod touch and iPhone browse the iTunes Store for music, movies, TV shows, and more and then preview and purchase them and download them directly to their wireless device. Previously, iTunes Store purchases had to be made using the iTunes software on computers.
When the song or video is downloaded to the iPod touch or iPhone, it is immediately available to be played. The next time the device is synced to a computer, the songs purchased wirelessly are synced the to the computer's iTunes library.
When combined with iTunes' ringtone feature, this allows users to buy songs and convert them into ringtones immediately, on the go, and without being at their computers.
