You probably know the venerable, cheeky, and all-around wonderful humor newspaper The Onion. Well, did you know that The Onion's arts and culture section, The AV Club, runs a regular feature in which celebrities talk about what's on their iPods?
This is another example of how iPods are changing the world. Ten or twenty years ago, you might have occasionally seen interviews with celebrities about their record or CD collections, but not too often - and certainly not so commonly as to fill a regular section of a publication.
Now, the iPod is pervasive, and such a powerful part of personal entertainment, that it's practically a common denominator for many people.
And thus we get The Onion's Random Rules feature. There are interviews for everyone's taste here, including
- director John Waters
- musician Janet Weiss
- actor Patrick Warburton
- comics and TV writer Brian K. Vaughn
- comedian David Cross
New interviews are added regularly.
