Accuracy is key
Each time you launch the Walt Disney World Park Hours app, it downloads the most current opening and closing times for the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom. For each of these parks, you’ll also get a list of daily events (including parades and fireworks) and any other special events. Opening and closing times are also included for the water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, although daily events aren’t listed for these parks.
You can search dates up to six months in advance. I cross-checked several days worth of closing and opening times on the Disney World website, and all of the times matched up correctly. For an app that deals solely with park hours, accuracy is pretty much all you want. That said, this basic app could use a little more functionality to make it a better deal (especially considering that you can get all of this information on the Disney website for free). Even something as basic as descriptions for the daily events would be welcome. For example, the app could provide a brief description of events like the Dream-Along With Mickey for those who have yet to visit Walt Disney World.
