Apple is following a two-tiered approach to making the iPhone 3G available. The phone will go on sale on July 11 in 22 countries. It will be released in an additional 48 countries throughout 2008, making it available in a total of 70 countries.
The 22 countries that will have the iPhone 3G on July 11 are:
