How to Skip Songs When Shuffling in iTunes and iPhone

Keep moving through your music library

What to Know

  • In iTunes/Music, right-click a track and choose Get Info > Options > Skip when shuffling > OK.
  • To skip multiple, highlight the tracks and choose Get Info > Edit Items > Options > Skip when shuffling > OK.
  • The Music app for iPhone doesn't include options to always skip songs, but you can transfer the shuffle settings from iTunes/Music.
