Using the Genius Sidebar to Preview and Buy Music

Using iTunes Genius to Discover New Music, step 3

You can preview and buy songs and albums directly from the Genius Sidebar.

To hear 30-second previews of any of the songs in the Sidebar, click the music note icon next to each listing. The song will play and the icon will turn into a blue square. Simply click it again to stop the preview.

To buy the song or album, just click the "buy" button next to the listing (this assumes you’ve got an iTunes account, of course).

To view the iTunes Store page for a song, album, or musician, simply click the text of the suggestion.

To view a list of albums, songs, or recommendations, click the arrow icon in the heading of each section to be delivered to that section of the iTunes Store.
