As the conversion happens, you’ll see a preview of the movie being converted in the left-hand part of the screen (if you enable that feature).
I tested the program with a 10-minute DVD movie. It took iPod Video Converter about 10 minutes to convert the video and it produced an 82 MB file.
The quality of the file was acceptable, but not as good as with other iPod video conversion programs. The outputted file had a shaky picture in some places and was slightly pixelated in others.
