iEphemera: International iPhone + iTunes, iPod Vending Machines

A few tidbits of iPod, iPhone, and iTunes news as we head into the weekend and start counting down to less than a week before the big announcements expected at Apple's WWDC on June 9.
- Remember when Apple announced the iPhone version 2.0 software, it also announced a $100 million venture capital fund to develop applications for the phone? The first two funded companies have been revealed. They will develop location awareness and home automation software.
- The iPod vending machines that were a hit in airports in late 2006 are coming to 400 Macy's locations.
- The iPhone is coming to Hong Kong and Macau later this year, courtesy Hutchinson Telecom.
- iTunes Movie purchases and rentals are coming to the UK and Canada, with content from Disney, Pararmount, Warner Bros., and 20th Century Fox, according to reports.
