iPhone 3G S Post-Launch Roundup
Well, I'm back from vacation. I didn't miss anything, did I? Oh, the iPhone 3G S launch? Right, right. That. Being out of town on the day of the phone's launch prevented me from getting one this weekend (all of Rhode Island seems to be sold out), but I'll pick one up as soon as my local Apple Store gets a shipment. In the meantime, here's the latest from around the web about what turned out to be another smashingly successful weekend for Apple:
- Apple sold over 1 million iPhone 3G S units this weekend. Not a bad debut, I'd say.
- However, all those sales led to a repeat of the phone activation delays seen last year. To make up for them, Apple is offering some affected customers a US$30 iTunes gift card
- Steve Jobs is due back to Apple any day now. According to the Wall Street Journal, that's thanks to a liver transplant

Wow! I’m glad it was a live transplant and not a dead one.
Oops! Good point. Fixed now.
