A few iPod and iPhone news bits that have caught my eye in recent days:

• Rumor has it that the next version of the iPod nano will add a digital camera
• Thanks to European regulators, Apple may soon be able to create a single, Europe-wide iTunes Store, rather than creating one for each country
• Steve Jobs, due back to Apple next month after a health-related hiatus, is reportedly sounding good
• Apple has released a software update for the third-generation iPod Shuffle
• AT&T is upgrading the speed of its wireless network
