Jobs to Miss Shareholder Meeting
For the first time since he rejoined the Apple in the mid-90s, Steve Jobs will miss the company's annual shareholder's meeting tomorrow. Jobs took a leave of absence from Apple in mid-January to deal with ongoing health issues. As a result, his absence is not entirely surprising.
Still, rumors continue to swirl around Jobs and his health status, with friends and business contacts continuing to, without going on record, voice concern for his health. The latest such rumbling came in a column by Robert X. Cringley, noting that Jobs, who is normally a frequent presence on instant messaging tools, has been absent from his computer lately.
