Apple Sells 200M TV Shows, 1M HD Shows
Friday October 17, 2008
Apple has sold over 200 million TV show episodes through the iTunes Store, according to reports. Over 1 million of those sales have been high-def episodes, which is a big number, given the high-def shows have only been available since the Sept. 9 "Let's Rock" event. That's a lot of TV - and further testament to the success of the iTunes Store.
Also: looks like HD shows from networks including CBS, Fox, ABC, and NBC will be hitting iTunes soon.
