Come June 2, any of you with a penchant for dropping your iPhone will have a low-cost way to protect your phone from yourself: AT&T will begin offering iPhone insurance for $5/month. Phone insurance tends not to make much sense on low-cost models, but when you're dropping $300 or more for a phone, you might want something to protect you if money isn't all you drop.
