Interesting Findings from iPhone Survey

Wednesday April 9, 2008
A survey of 460 iPhone users by Rubicon Group has turned up some interesting findings (link is a PDF) (actually, a lot of them, but I'm just going to highlight a few here):
  • Nearly 50% of users changed mobile phone carriers to get an iPhone
  • 33% of iPhone users carry two cell phones
  • 10% of iPhone users report hand pain after using the device

I'm curious: do any of you readers fall into these categories? I fall into one: I switched carriers to get an iPhone. What about you?

I score 2 of 3:

1) Switched from T-Mobile (back) to AT&T
2) Extended WiFi usage makes my hands ‘hot’ & sore, from the RF radiation. It is quite uncomfortable, actually, and forces me to put the phone down after 1 hr+ of WiFi surfimg. My hands actually hurt from the power of the combined RF (GSM, Bluetooth & Wi-Fi)
