Apple Releases iPhone Firmware Update 1.1.4

Apple has released the latest update to the software that runs the iPhone - firmware version 1.1.4. It was posted late yesterday and can be download through iTunes when your iPhone is synced. There has been some confusion about the update so far, in that it's a 162MB file but Apple claims that it only contains "bug fixes." Many have speculated that this update lays the groundwork for the coming of third-party applications with the soon-to-be-released iPhone SDK.
