iEphemera: Big iTunes Stats, Amazon Buys Audible

It was a good week to be iTunes, with some new statistics about marketshare and its widespread use.

• iTunes is now the second most-used media player, with 35.7 million users
• Nearly 50% of kids ages 9-14 use iTunes. That's getting them early!
• Audible, a supplier of audio books to, among other sites, iTunes, is being bought by Amazon. Could this be another front in the coming iTunes-AmazonMP3 war?
