iPhone a Success in UK
Sunday December 30, 2007
The iPhone seems to be a success in the UK, according to figure related by Matthew Kay, CEO of O2, Apple's iPhone partner in the country. The stats: 200,000 phone sold by early January, higher use of data (and thus higher revenue) than other O2 customers, and lots of customers taken from competing carriers. This is interesting news, especially after some reports of tepid reaction to the iPhone in the UK, where most cell phones have faster data connections using 3G than the iPhone currently offers.
