iPhone to Japan in 2008?
Tuesday December 18, 2007
The iPhone will be making its debut in Japan, probably in 2008, according to an article at the Wall Street Journal online (unless you've got a subscription, you won't be able to read the whole thing - sorry). Apple is reportedly in talks with NTT DoCoMo, Japan's largest carrier, and Softbank, the number three carrier. Engadget points out that DoCoMo doesn't have an EDGE network - if the iPhone goes to Japan it will be 3G.
