Orange Expects to Sell 100,000 French iPhones
Thursday November 29, 2007
Orange Telecom, Apple's official iPhone partner in France, is expecting to sell 100,000 iPhones by the end of 2007, according to Orange's chief. It's a big claim, especially since the iPhone goes on sale in France just today. Doubly so, given the UK response has allegedly been weak. Perhaps the fact that French law requires unlocked phones, which Orange will be selling for for $749 Euros, has something to do with that prediction.
