iPhone to Top Cell Phone Sales in 3-6 Months?
Saturday October 27, 2007
The iPhone could become the best-selling cell phone in the U.S. in just 3-6 months, according to research firm Strategic Analytics. This analysis comes not long after AT&T announced that Apple's phone is already its best-selling handset (and not long after Apple said it's sold 1.38 million total iPhones so far). The current best-selling phone in the U.S. is Motorola's RAZR (which is the phone I had before I bought my iPhone). Analysts expect that strong holiday season sales could vault Apple into the top spot.
