iPhone Unlock and Install Updates

Two of the biggest developments in the iPhone world recently include the successful unlocking of the iPhone and the continued progress is creating and installing new programs for the phone.

Unlocking allows customers to use the iPhone on whatever cell phone network they want, not just AT&T. The first group to announce a software solution for unlocking is now saying that they will be making the software available to the public any day now. Unlocking is not foolproof - Apple could block it with software updates - but it is promising for those who don't want to use AT&T.

On the installation front, getting new programs onto the iPhone has been fairly difficult, requiring technical skills average users don't have. Not anymore. A new program makes installing progams on the iPhone a snap. Of course, Apple software updates could scuttle all this, too, but for now, enjoy your phone hacking!
