Diamonds + Gold + iPod Shuffle = $20,000

I don't know why people are so interested in taking their relatively inexpensive consumer electronics and draping insanely expensive precious metals and gems over them, but these things keep popping up. At some point, I'll stop blogging about them, but this one seemed worth mentioning. A Norwegian company has taken an US$79 iPod Shuffle and added $19,900 worth of gold and diamonds (site in Norwegian) to it. It sure is shiny, if perhaps, a little foolish.
