Apple has released the second software update for the iPhone. IPhone users can download the software through iTunes by connecting the iPhone to their computer and clicking the "check for updates" button on the management screen. Officially, Apple describes the update as containing bug fixes. Users at various websites are reporting unconfirmed changes to WiFi and EDGE network reception, speaker volume, and other features.
For users who haven't hacked their iPhones, the update is a fairly quick and easy. For hacked iPhones, the experience seems mixed. Some users are having to wipe and restore their iPhone storage, others are able to update without difficulty.
