Find Good FM Transmitter Stations with Belkin

Thursday May 24, 2007

I've reviewed a couple of FM transmitters that broadcast music from your iPod to your car's stereo. Generally, they're pretty good, but their biggest drawback is that you'll often got interference from other stations while you're trying to listen to your iPod on another frequency. Now, iPod accessory maker Belkin has just made a new tool available to help users find the best stations for their iPod broadcast.

My Best FM Stations is a new section of the Belkin website on which you can enter your zip code and state in order to get a list of the FM frequencies that will provide the clearest iPod broadcast. A cool idea that will make these FM transmitters all the more useful.

How can it work with a digital car radio which only seeks stations that can be heard? You can’t seek a station not working, it would just skip by it. This is ridiculous.
