Learn a Foreign Language on Your iPod

Thursday May 17, 2007
All of us have at least one foreign language we'd like to learn (Me? I'd like to be able to read, and maybe even speak, Japanese, on the modern side of things. And I'd love to resurrect my Latin and ancient Greek skills) and, if you're at this site, you're probably got an iPod, too. Well, if you're ready to actually jump into vocabulary review and verb declension, OpenCulture.com is ready to help you out. The good folks there have just posted a great list of all the podcasts at the iTunes Store designed to help you learn a foreign language. Ranging from German to French, Hebrew to Dutch, Chinese to Tagalog, there are a ton of options here. And best of all? The podcasts are free. So, get to learning!

How does one get foreign language lessons for the ipod to download and save for the ipod (not a podcast)?
